Reworked Mending

Mending on SMPOnline has been reworked entirely and no longer functions the same as Vanilla. If you're familiar with the Mending rework that Loki/HuskyMoment did in his video here, it's generally the same idea. If not, our reworked version of Mending is explained below.

Key Changes

• Equipment is no longer automatically repaired when enchanted with Mending. Instead, equipment can be repaired in the Anvil with Mending with any valid Mending repair material, not just its crafting material.
• Equipment with Mending can be reinforced up to 2x its original durability in the Anvil for no additional level cost from a repair.
• Any repair or reinforcement (including from 0% to 200%) only costs players 1 experience level.
• Equipment with Mending cannot break, similar to how Elytras break.
• Mending is now available in the Enchanting Table.

Mending Repair Materials

In order from weakest repair to most powerful repair material.

• Copper Ingots or Copper Blocks
• Iron Ingots or Iron Blocks
• Diamonds or Diamond Blocks
• Netherite Scrap
• Netherite Ingot, or Netherite Blocks

How To Use

1. Enchant your equipment with Mending
2. Put equipment into an Anvil
3. Put repair materials into the right side slot of the Anvil
4. Keep adding materials until you're happy with the level of reinforcement or repair
5. Click the output item and take it from the Anvil
