Small QOL Features

Here are a few QOL features we've added to SMPOnline that aren't worth their own dedicated pages.

Utility Commands

/upgrade

Marks your subscription to be rechecked next time the link service verifies subscriptions. This can take a few minutes. Useful for when you're switching sub tiers.

/togglejoin

Toggle the visibility of player join/leave messages for yourself.

/togglephantoms

Enables Insomnia mechanic and phantom spawning for you. Can be used to get phantom membranes

/checkowner

Right-click mobs to check their owner's name. Re-run the command to turn this off.

/uar time

Check how long until the next nightly reboot will occur. These happen every night to ensure stability and allow certain updates to the server.

Fast Carts

Basically, these are temporary, high speed Minecarts that you can use to get around efficiently on the server. They have some interesting physics this season.

To use these, simply right-click on any rail to spawn a Fast Cart. Dismounting will remove it. To place normal Minecarts, you'll need to crouch while holding the Minecart item.

Ice Rafts

Similar to Fast Carts, you can spawn a bamboo raft anywhere by right-clicking the top of an Ice block. If you leave the raft, the raft will automatically be removed.

Open Shulkers Anywhere

You can right-click with a Shulker Box in your hand to open it anywhere without having to place it. You can also access shulker boxes from within your inventory by right-clicking the Shulker Box item. This opens a menu that allows you to edit the Shulker.

Open Ender Chests Anywhere

Like the Shulker feature, you can right-click with an Ender Chest item to open your Ender Chest from anywhere without placing the block. This allows using an Ender Chest even in areas that are claimed.
