Figura Moderation
While we don't officially recommend or encourage the use of Figura on the server, it's nevertheless a very popular mod within the community. Players use this mod to personalize their appearance in game, as well as provide the means to run rather unique bits. Figura is a very versatile mod and, as a result, has a lot of capabilities that we need to keep track of to ensure folks are following the rules.
Thanks to official access granted to the Figura APIs to our server by the Figura Team (thx skyrina), we can effectively monitor the actions taken by users on our server.
Global Figura Sounds
We have a custom build of Figura that will give you a Toast message, as well as log into your client logs when a Global figura sound plays. Soon we will have a means of automatically detecting this and kicking players for loading models with global sounds (stereo audio files), but for now it is manual. You can find this build here: https://discord.com/channels/881583503056187392/894335582325579836/1397392169114800208
Figura User List
We have a way to list all users currently using Figura models in-game. You can run /listfigurausers
to view them, or /listfigurausers all
to see what models players are using. This printout can be huge, don't expect it to be terribly legible.
In-game Figura Messages
We are able to monitor the content of in-game text boxes and other messages through our API access. You can use /figuramonitor
to monitor all messages coming in live. These messages may appear to be nonsense or spam. If a particular user's model is flooding the monitor log, use /figuramute <player>
to hide or unhide their messages from the logging. All messages are stored in a log for review in case of player reports.
Inappropriate Models
Please notify Loki for any cases of NSFW player models so the appropriate action can be taken against the user by Figura's staff. NSFW models are not allowed per Figura's rules and use of them results in a ban from Figura's servers.
In the staff Discord, the #player-model-log channel contains alerts from our Figura monitor system based on a series of heuristics to detect inappropriate content. Some of these pings are false positives, though others are genuine uses of NSFW player models on the server.
If you're unable to verify if a model is truly NSFW based on the detection heuristics, contact Loki. He has a method to load these models and verify their content. All models loaded on the server are stored temporarily for moderation purposes, though no means will be provided to you for how to utilize these model files.
These same files are stored by Figura locally while you play in its cache, making them no different from anything any player would have access to.
