Free Trials

SMPOnline Season 5 offers a Free Trial for all players who wish to play!

This trial is an untimed, hardcore Evaluation Period that ends when a player dies from any non-player source. This is signaled in-game via messages and the use of the Hardcore hearts hud element. Once you die, you'll be prevented from rejoining the server until you subscribe to CallMeCarson on Twitch or become a CallMeCarsonLive YouTube Member.

Trial Member Restrictions

• For moderation purposes, during their first 12 hours of playtime...
  • Unable to create custom paintings through Joy of Painting 
  • Cannot use our in-game Voice Chat system
• Significantly reduced claim block limit versus paying members
  

Outside of these restrictions, trial members have free reign over all other server features. Many trial players have surpassed our 12 hour playtime requirement and enjoy access to those otherwise restricted features.

Our rules protect your trial!

If a player makes a contraption and goes out of their way to deceive and kill you, your trial is able to be restored by staff. Make a player report ticket in the Discord for your specific case to be reviewed.

Note that we do not restore trials for situations that are your fault, such as boarding an unsafe roller coaster or other preventable death causes. However, as an example, if a Player replaced water you were falling from a height into with a block and made you die from fall damage, we would restore your trial. This would violate our rules on player traps and random killing.
