Lost/Hijacked Accounts

If you've lost your Minecraft account for any reason, such as an account hijacking, losing access to your Microsoft account, or some other bizarre reason you cannot resolve, don't worry! Your progress on SMPOnline is safe - we have the ability to "transfer" it, though not via conventional means.

If your account is permanently lost or unusable...

1. Create a SMPOnline help ticket on the CMC Discord
2. Provide your old account username, as well as your new account's username.
   • Ideally, provide NameMC links to your old and new account if you've been hijacked. These will remain accessible by staff even if the hacker changes your username.
3. Explain how you lost access to your old account, as well as the ways you've tried to regain access
4. If you were a Twitch sub, ensure your Discord account displays the Twitch account you were linked with previously. If you're a YouTube member, make sure your using the same Discord account as you used to link your subscription.
   • If you're unable to do this, let us know. We can verify your identity by other means - this is just the easiest.
5. If you'd like to retain your old username, request this in your ticket. Otherwise, your new account's username will be used.

Once these steps have been followed and your identity has been verified, we can link your new account to your old account's data and restore your progress. In-game, it will appear as if you've logged in on your old account.

At the moment, this method results in some strange behavior with the linking service - you will need to remain linked to your old Minecraft account on the website at all times. If you run into any issues after this process, feel free to make a new ticket and ask for help then.

Keep trying! Once you've exhausted your avenues, feel free to follow the steps above.
